The Early Childhood Program at Temple Beth Ahm Yisrael was established in 1980 on the belief that the first few years of a child’s life provide the foundation for social, cognitive, physical and language development that help foster a love for lifelong learning. In addition, the Early Childhood Program is an integral part of the Jewish community, a caring, inclusive Conservative congregation and a loving extended family. The Early Childhood Program is a kosher, nut free learning center.
Our Early Childhood Program offers an excellent teacher to student ratio with small intimate class sizes. Our curriculum is designed to present new and varied hands-on experiences for all children. These experiences enhance a child’s opportunity to develop and grow socially and academically. Our loving, caring, and seasoned staff consists of administrators, teachers and assistants with many years of experience.
The curriculum includes center based learning areas, weekly Shabbat, music and movement, smart board technology and thematic units. We offer full and half day classes for children 18 months – Pre K, before and after care, an afternoon Hebrew Immersion program and an eight week summer camp.
