Programs are supervised by state certified teachers with experience in children's theatre. Most programs and all day camps end with one or more performances on the last day of the program/day camp. ACT is the oldest, largest regional, year-round performing arts organization in New Jersey working exclusively with children ages 4-17.
Day camp programs in performing arts are offered in in Parsippany, Roxbury/Succasunna, Watchung and Metuchen during July and August.
A typical camp consists of kids who come from numerous northern/central New Jersey communities. They are involved with varied activities, including auditioning, singing, dancing, acting, scenery design and development, rehearsing and socializing. Camp ends on the 10th day after a dress rehearsal and evening public performance(s). A camper pizza/soda party is held during lunch on the last day of camp. Certificates are awarded to all participants. Public Performance tickets are $9.00 per person.
Since its inception, All Children's Theatre has put on over 500 productions with nearly 11,000 children from approximately 300 communities in 11 counties in Northern and Central New Jersey as well as from communities in New York and Pennsylvania.
