Our traditional day camp, for children ages 18 months to 9 years, is based at the JCC of Central NJ in Scotch Plains. Activities include gymnastics, arts & crafts, instructional and free swim and a wide variety of sports. There are elective programs for the older children with choices in sports, fine arts, dramatic arts and science.
Our travel camp for ages 10-14 is based out of our Springfield site. Children take daily trips to beaches, ballparks, water and amusements parks and more. Overnights are also included to places like Disney World, New Orleans and Cape Cod.
Camp Yachad is in its fourth summer partnering with the Union County Vocational Technical School in Scotch Plains to offer our Summer Academy for Performing Arts camp for children 10–14 years. Campers have access to the UCVTS impressive state-of-the-art facility and black box theater located minutes from the JCC.
Our Maccabi Sports Camp for children in 1st–4th grades is the ultimate in sports day camping at the expansive Wardlaw-Hartridge campus in Edison.
All Camp Yachad camps provide a memorable, fun and activity-filled experience where children are encouraged to grow as individuals, develop self-esteem, learn new skills and build friendships. We are proud of our Jewish heritage, but at the same time, we are also very proud to be a non-sectarian and diverse camp--open to everyone in our community.
Transportation is included with all camp programs and lunch is included with our onsite day camps programs.
