It's a great opportunity for families to spend time together and honor those who have served our country. With the weather getting warmer and the school year coming to a close, it's the perfect time to plan some outdoor activities and create lasting memories. 

Memorial Day Weekend Activities for Families to Consider:

  1. Attend a Memorial Day Parade: Many communities host Memorial Day parades to honor those who have served our country. It's a great opportunity to teach kids about the history of Memorial Day and show appreciation for the sacrifices made by our service members.

  2. Plan a Picnic: Pack a picnic lunch and head to a nearby park or beach. Enjoy the beautiful weather and spend quality time with your family.

  3. Visit a National Cemetery: Take some time to visit a national cemetery and pay your respects to those who have served our country. Many cemeteries have Memorial Day ceremonies and events.
